XELIOS is an artificial solar lighting lamp that reproduces natural sunlight (wavelength range 300-2500nm) with a wide wavelength range from ultraviolet to visible to infrared.
Until now, artificial solar lighting has reallized the following by using different types of filters.
・A/AF type emits visible rays.
・B/BF type emits ultraviolet light (300nm and up, UV-A + UV-B) + visible rays.
・E/EF type emits UV-A + visible + infrared (up to 2500nm) rays.
This terrestrial solar lighting lamp covers light beam of all wavelength ranges from UV-B (300nm and above) to infrared (up to 2500nm), making it possible to test and evaluate under conditions closest to the actual environment on Earth.

Main features

Since it covers the entire wavelength range of sunlight that reaches the earth (300-2500nm), testing and evaluation can be performed under conditions close to the actual environment.
The concentrated light type (super spot) achieves the equivalent illuminance (100,000 Lx)/energy (1,000 W/m2) as sunlight in midsummer. (Model: XG-500LSS/XG-500LFSS)
All wavelengths of ultraviolet (UV-B, UV-A), visible and infrared rays are approximated to the spectral characteristics of natural sunlight, making it possible to perform highly reproducible photochemical reaction tests, outdoor exposure alternative tests and light resistance tests.
Since there is very little deteriorated change as result of aging, testing and evaluation can be performed under the same conditions until the end of the lamp life.
